Coronavirus (COVID-19)

We at Galaxy Grand Convention Centre are monitoring the dynamic situation of COVID -19. We have always had diligent hygiene practices in house and we rigorously follow Good Operational Practices.


During this outbreak our primary concern and focus is on the health and well being of our employees, Clients, Suppliers and the Public Visiting our facility. On that basis, we will continue to navigate through this dynamic situation while playing a constructive role in supporting local health officials and Health Canada as we work to contain this Virus outbreak.


Galaxy Grand Convention Centre will maintain business continuity and has recovery plans in place to address Crisis Situations and we are reviewing and adapting them to this particular crisis. Our plan provides for uninterrupted service to our Clients through best practice procedures, skilled and conscious staff and effective hygiene processes that are adaptable to this situation. We will keep you informed of any potential disruptions.


In order to be pro-active and diligent, we have communicated to our Employees, Clients and Suppliers the importance of staying home if they present with flu-like symptoms: cough, sniffles, fever, chills, headaches, body aches and respiratory difficulties.


We have undertaken additional preventative steps to protect our staff and those essential individuals required to come to our facility so that we continue to serve.  We have adopted following Health Canada Recommendation strictly to prevent the contamination and stay safe and make sure the clients and visitors are safe:

  • We are Washing our hands often with soap and water for 20 Seconds Minimum this is the best practice. or with alcohol-based hand sanitizer
  • sneeze and cough into your sleeve
  • We are avoiding touching eyes, nose or mouth without washing the hand by soap.
  • We are avoiding contact with people who are sick.
  • Requesting Employees, Suppliers and Clients over the phone to stay home if they are sick and not to visit the facility.

We have implemented a more rigorous cleaning program of the common areas and offices as well as more frequent cleaning of all hand-held devices.


We have also implemented policies to restrict unnecessary face to face meetings, access to our facility, unnecessary visits to our supplier locations, restricted our employee participation in social activities and limited all non-essential travel out side the office for client meetings.


We are reinforcing the recommended protocol of avoiding hand shaking, restricting close contact, and we have educated out team of the importance of maintaining an appropriate social distance.


It is extremely prudent and necessary to be proactive and stay ahead of this Pandemic for everyone’s protection and we can defeat the further Spread of COVID-19. Your continued support is greatly appreciated.  We will continue to provide you with updates as they become available. ALSO TO KEEP YOU INFORMED THAT WE HAVE TAKEN NECESSARY PRCAUTIONS TO BE SAFE AND KEEP EVERYONE SAFE AND ALSO  OPEN DURING NORMAL BUSINESS HOURS TO SERVE YOU.
